Defend Real Honey.
Secure Pollination.

Join the European Professional Beekeepers Association (EPBA)

Europe's Beekeepers are disappearing.
And with them, our food security.

Across Europe, the number of professional beekeepers is steadily declining. In Central Europe alone, over 35% of honey bee colonies disappeared between 1985 and 2005¹. In countries like Ukraine, the loss reached over 10% in just one year². Analysts warn that if this continues at only –2% annually, the beekeeping equipment market will shrink by over €50 million within 5 years³.

This isn’t just about bees.
It’s about food, farmers, and fairness.

The EPBA Is Taking Action

We lead two powerful initiatives:

"Honigretten" – The Public Voice for Real Honey

A consumer-driven movement calling on citizens across Europe to take a stand against fake honey, support transparent labeling, and protect honest honey producers.

"Clean Up the Honey Market" – A Policy Offensive

We work directly with EU institutions to eliminate fraudulent imports, close regulatory loopholes, and drive the policy changes needed to restore fairness to the honey sector.
